14 DAY TRIAL // When the first official photo of Catwoman from “The Dark Knight Rises” was released, many fans were unhappy with it – but Anne Hathaway, who plays her, promised there would be more to come. Against her and the producers’ will, more has come.
A fresh batch of pictures from the set of “The Dark Knight Rises,” written and directed by Chris Nolan, has emerged online, AceShowbiz reports.
Not only do the pics show more of Batman (Christian Bale) in action, but they also offer a very good look at Anne Hathaway in character – more specifically, at the much talked about suit.
“Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway have been photographed together in full Batman and Catwoman attire,” the e-zine says.
“The twosome were spotted filming a scene on the set of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in downtown Los Angeles last Saturday, September 24, joined by co-star Gary Oldman,” AceShowbiz further writes.
Anne is shown in a full-body latex black suit, with black heels and a black cat mask over her eyes. Her hair is pulled in a tight ponytail and, from what one can see, she doesn’t have any weapon on her.
Other photos show the actress, still in character, getting on Batman’s Batpod, which might confirm what fans had been saying a while back, namely that she’ll be stealing The Bat’s bike to serve her own interest.
In another pic, Bale and Hathaway are seen sharing a laugh as they’re getting their makeup retouched.
After Warner Bros. released the first official photo of Anne in costume (also on the Batpod), there was a lot of mumbling online about how she was the worst choice for a Catwoman ever made and that the costume looked very cheap.
“What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do. And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste,” Anne told MTV shortly after the release of the photo, as we also informed you at the time.
