In case you are planning the purchase of a new tablet PC on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless, and the recently announced Motorola XOOM appeals to you enough to consider making a purchase, you might want to get ready for its arrival by having a look at the user manual the device would arrive with.

The tablet PC is not available for purchase as of yet, but you can already have a look at its user manual, which leaked into the wild recently, courtesy of Droid-Life.

The Motorola XOOM user manual would offer users a great deal of info on how they can take advantage of the various functionality included within the device.

For what it's worth, it seems that, in a way, the user guide would easily prove as useful for any other tablet PC that runs under Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

There are only a few pages that would explain the hardware of the device, with the rest of them, focused more on the software part, namely on the mobile platform, which would power a great deal of other tablet PCs as well.

However, this is not a bad thing after all, since it enables users to learn more on what the tablet-based flavor of the Android OS has to offer when compared to the previous iterations, designed specifically for use on smartphones.

The Motorola XOOM tablet, launched during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January 2011, comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, and a dual-core application processor inside for enhanced performance.

The tablet PC also sports dual cameras, as well as WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity options, and 3G capabilities (Motorola also announced a WiFi-only flavor of the device). It should receive 4G LTE support via a software update that would arrive soon after the initial release.

The tablet was announced as headed for Verizon Wireless in the United States. At MWC 2011, Motorola announced plans to make it available for purchase in Europe as well, and even confirmed a series of distribution agreements for the device.
