We have, once again, news from Research In Motion. A spec sheet of the Blackberry 8800 has leaked from the Canadian wireless company, that shows exactly their vision on this new "big brother" of the Blackberry Pearl.

From the leaked spec sheet we can see the 8800 will have a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with video recording capacities, also equipped with 5x digital zoom and flash, voice activated dialing, a beautiful 320x240 pixels QVGA landscape display and an ultra slim form factor with a full QWERTY keyboard for easy data input.

Another highlight we find through the handheld's specification list is the media player, capable of audio and video playback and streaming, which come together with a compatible stereo headset and a speakerphone. Other features that add quality to the user's multimedia experience are the advanced noise and echo cancellation, which help the 8800 owner to enjoy a crystal clear sound. The users can store their personal files on the 64 MB Flash internal memory, which can be expanded through the microSD memory card slot.

The handset offers its users connectivity and great data and voice coverage wherever they are through Bluetooth 2.0, quadband EDGE and, the "must have" in any wireless device, Wi-Fi 802.11bg.

Whatever this leaked specs sheet says, you must know that the 8800 specs presented here are always subject to change, because RIM hasn't yet made an official release of the Blackberry 8800. At least we caught a glimpse of the release date, that - after what the specs sheet says - will be sometime in the spring of 2007.
