DIY customers won't buy it, but OEMs might just use it from time to time

Leadtek will ship a certain video card later this week, one that probably won't show up on any retailers that ship individual PC parts.

We say this because it is a version of the low profile GeForce GT 630, which is an OEM part. That is to say, it will only be available to system builders who ship fully configured computers.

That said, Leadtek used a special PCB in the making of the adapter, but didn't otherwise stray from the blueprint.

Thus, the GPU clock speed is still 810 MHz, the 96 CUDA cores still work at 1,620 MHz (this being the Fermi architecture, the shaders still work at double the speed of the GPU) and the 2 GB of SDDR3 memory function at 1,600 MHz.

Leadtek will ask for 7,000 JPY in exchange for this product ($89 / 71 Euro).

HTPCs powered by CPUs without integrated graphics are the sort of PCs that will use the Leadtek Winfast GeForce GT 630 (WFGT630-2GD3LP). Its DVI, HDMI 1.4a and D-Sub ports will make sure that all types of monitors and HDTVs are supported.
