A new DVB-T solution

Leadtek introduced the world's smallest form factor DVB-T solution for PC, Winfast DTV Dongle, an enhanced USB 2.0 version TV box. With compact, slim and noiseless thermal design, the new solution does not require an extra power adapter and you can simply plug-and-play digital terrestrial TV on your PC.

Winfast DTV Dongle offers a superior visual experience while watching digital terrestrial TV (DVB-T) on PC. By supporting SDTV/HDTV broadcasts, it can provide a static free, sharp picture with enhanced high resolution.

You can also record favorite programs with MPEG-2 encoding, freely pause, rewind and fast forward without bypass any live detail with Time-shifting functionality, organize your recording lists by EPG and "Schedule-Recording" slim type remote control provide an environment just like in the living room. Moreover, its stylish, tiny-portable design enables your easily carry it while traveling around the world.

A similar product was launched by AverMedia, called DVB-T 777. The tuner automatically scans the frequencies and delivers all the channels available in your area. DVB-T 777 offers a variety of radio stations and TV channels.

You can record your favorite programs in MPEG 2 format, use a very nice feature - pause live TV - and then continue to watch it when you want. The image offered is resizable so you can run the TV in a small corner of the screen and do something else. The device is a MCE-compliant Digital TV Tuner Card officially awarded the Microsoft Media Center Edition 2005 logo and is HDTV (1080i/720P) ready.

Unlike the Winfast DTV Dongle, with DVB-T 777, you get also a remote control. For the TV Tuner pack, priced at DVB-T 777, you get the TV tuner, the remote control and the AverMedia Software, AverTV 6.0, which allows you to set up a channel list for different locations.
