14 DAY TRIAL // There was a time when LeAnn Rimes would have to deny almost on a daily basis having an eating disorder or popping pills to get skinny. The reports stopped making the rounds when she gained a few pounds, but they’re back again.
LeAnn is determined to shed those extra pounds, which even her fans agree looked great on her, but, unfortunately, she’s not choosing the healthiest way to go about it.
The latest print issue of Star magazine (story via CB) claims she’s been popping Adderall and laxatives to get thin again, but also working out at the gym a lot. She has a very solid incentive for all this, the report goes on to mention, as her husband told her in no uncertain terms that he would not be with her if she’s heavier.
“She told me, ‘I have to look skinny for Eddie.’ Eddie loves thin women and would never have a fat woman in his life,” a friend of the singer’s reveals for the publication.
The fact that LeAnn is obsessed with Eddie’s former wife, Brandi Glanville, who is naturally thin, is also contributing to this situation. Ever since Eddie left Brandi for LeAnn, after being caught cheating and was exposed in the tabloids, the two women never really saw eye to eye. Moreover, there was a lot of talk at some point about how LeAnn was “copying” Brandi in everything she did.
According to this new report, having a slender frame is also on that list.
“Brandi is very thin naturally, so now LeAnn is focused on being thin again too. She got really skinny taking ADD medication and laxatives, then got off them to get pregnant. But now she feels fat and is back on all the pills again. It’s sad,” another insider tells the mag.
It might be sad, but it’s also very unhealthy as well, assuming there’s any truth to the report. LeAnn is yet to address the allegations made in it.
