LeAnn “accidentally” revealed too much on social media, made Eddie pay for it

The latest episode of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s VH1 reality show, LeAnn and Eddie, might be the fakest yet. As you can see in the two videos below, it centered on two major storylines: a Twitter photo scandal LeAnn started by accident, and Eddie finding out that his upcoming photoshoot actually required him to wear a swimsuit.

First things first: LeAnn made pancakes for Eddie and, because these days no dish of food is properly enjoyed (by anyone) unless you post photos of it on social media, she too took a snap of herself holding the plate with pancakes.

What she didn’t realize though was that there was a reflective surface behind her, so the photo actually showed more than just LeAnn’s face: it also showed her from the back, revealing to all Twitter followers that she was wearing nothing but a thong.

Imagine the drama! “I’m the only person I know that can take a selfie of pancakes and then tweet a picture where you can fully see my [backside] in a thong in the mirror behind me. What is wrong with me?” she lamented.

So, LeAnn and her publicist tried to take down all the copies of the photo after she deleted it from Twitter, but to no avail. At one point, her publicist tells her that they have no other option but to “wait for someone to screw up worse” than her, which gives LeAnn the idea to take some of the heat off her by placing it on Eddie.

She took a photo of Eddie’s backside and posted it on Twitter.

Well, neither of that ever happened. As far as we can tell, #RimesWithButt was never “trending on Yahoo! and Twitter,” LeAnn never accidentally posted that photo of herself or the one of Eddie’s derriere, and there never was a Buttgate “scandal.”

Moreover, a simple Google search will show anyone interested that there are thousands of photos of LeAnn’s backside in a variety of swimsuits, so her explanation that for the way she tried to make the Buttgate go away (that she would be mortified if Eddie’s 2 kids ever saw it) is a lie. Unless, of course, she’s also plotting to erase the entire Internet.

The second storyline, that of Eddie going on a starvation diet to look good in his swimsuit for the photoshoot, was also fake – and poorly acted to boot. First of all, no starvation diet works wonders in 2 days. Secondly, the final spread never ran in Men’s Fitness, so chances are it never happened.

We all know that reality shows are mostly scripted but, even by our adjusted standards, this recent episode of LeAnn & Eddie marks a new low: both of them know that not a day goes by without them making headlines, which means that their private life is thoroughly documented in the glossies.

Granted, most of these headlines are based on rumors that turn out to not be true but, regardless, a Twitter photo scandal or a sizzling hot Men’s Fitness spread would not pass by unnoticed. And it’s very funny how there’s not a mention of them anywhere, except on their reality show.
