14 DAY TRIAL // LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian got married in secret last week, after telling guests at the wedding they were about to attend a belated engagement party. Now, sources are saying that the ceremony was not too original: in fact, it was very similar to one of 10 years ago, when Eddie married Brandi Glanville.
Speculation about how LeAnn is trying to “copy” Brandi, Eddie’s ex-wife on whom he cheated with Rimes, has been around for many years – and Us Weekly says this is the closest thing to a confirmation.
Guests at the surprise wedding ceremony had a few, very serious cases of déjà vu, since most of the things they saw there they’d already seen a decade ago, when they attended Eddie and Brandi’s nuptials.
Sources present at the super-secret event say for the tab that the first thing that struck them was the dress LeAnn wore: a creation of designer Reem Acra.
“Brandi wore Reem Acra at her wedding to Eddie too,” says one spy.
Both ceremonies, with Brandi and now with LeAnn, took place in the spring at the beach, the tab writes.
Another resemblance is that the bride and groom cut the cake to “I Got You Babe”: 10 years ago, Eddie cut the cake with Brandi to the same song.
“Interesting. Because that’s the song they did a karaoke duet to at the wrap party of their movie [Northern Lights] in Canada when they were still married, in front of Brandi and Dean [Sheremet]!” another spy points out.
The similarities between Brandi and LeAnn don’t stop here either: both drive white Range Rovers, and both went under the knife for a larger cup size – LeAnn reportedly went to the same surgeon as Brandi and asked to have the same implants put in.
The spies do agree though that the speeches were so Eddie and LeAnn, with him joking that this was not his last wedding, and she urging guests to cut the nonsense and eat cake.
