Priced from $948 and sporting the power of dual-core processors, a new industrial design, a durable magnesium alloy frame and a starting weight of 5.24 pounds, the Latitude D520 (1.4-inch high, 13.3-inches wide, 10.75-inches deep; 35.8mm high, 338.3mm wide, 273mm deep) delivers stylish mobility with reliability, flexibility and performance. Customers can configure the new system with their choice of Intel Core Duo or Celeron M processors, 14.1-inch or 15-inch displays and Wi-Fi networking capabilities.
Business users will appreciate the dual-battery configuration option, enabling extended computing without the need for a recharge, and an integrated microphone for VoIP applications. Schools establishing Intelligent Classrooms, high tech, interactive learning centers based on computers and related technology, will value the integrated IEEE 1394 port and S-video ports.
