Enough time has passed for us to do another roundup of the latest free applications submitted to the App Store. Can you believe how many iPhone / iPod touch apps there are? The last time Apple checked, there were 15 thousand of them. According to our sources, there are almost 17,000 available applications (paid and free) already sitting in the App Store.

SpeechBubble LITE

“Express your thoughts, your feelings, everything you want to say, using small speech bubbles, like comics, thanks to your iPhone,” says Magno Urbano. “Show your friends your real opinion about issues. It's fun. It's cool! Create great stories with your friends. Get noticed and make people laugh! Get a motive to engage in conversation and flirt with that goddess on the 7th floor!”

According to the description, the app comes with 12 pre-written bubbles that you can use to make your friends laugh. Since this is the lite version of the app, a paid version featuring 12 empty and editable bubbles is also available from the developers. But why don't you check out the free, stripped-down SpeechBubble for now and see how you like it.

Vibrating Massager

Developed by SavySoda, Vibrating Massager turns your iPhone into a vibrating massager! As you would expect, you get a choice of vibrating massagers in different colors with different vibration characteristics, “life like sound” (of what?), the ability to change vibration intensity and pattern, pleasant graphics and animation that's in sync with the vibes, and free updates (of course).

Young Painter

(ad supported)

Aimed at children, Young Painter allows your kids to draw beautiful pictures on your iPhone by moving their finger on the surface of the touch-screen. When the masterpiece is complete, save the picture by taking a screenshot (Sleep+Home). As Mikhail Solovyev (developer) suggests, kid drawings make a great present for your loved ones. Best of all, kids can continue drawing over and over without needing any outside help. To erase a picture, all they have to do is shake the phone and the “canvas” will become clean.

A paid version of the app is available. Young Painter Plus removes all ads, sports an autosave feature, has markers for hardedge brushes and 100% opaque, can upload drawings to an online gallery, includes more colors and a white color as eraser.

“If you like the application and you want to enjoy it without annoying advertising - buy Young painter plus. It costs only 1 dollar. If the advertising does not disturb you, use this free version - it's very easy,” says Mikhail Solovyev.
