iPhone users rejoice! The past two weeks have seen the App Store incorporating a great number of free apps, three of which we couldn't help mentioning. Have a look below, and make your pick.

tapAttack

Released early this month, tapAttack is a 1.2 MB fun game to test you finger speed. How many times can you touch your iPhone screen in 10 seconds? Well, get the app and see! Try to beat the current leader and post your score to the high scores list. Use the link below to get the app.

Greed

Free

Released on December 20, weighing in just over 1MB, Greed Free is a new and unique puzzle game in the style of Reversi and Minesweeper. Players must try and outwit the CPU or another player, by getting the most points taking turns in placing stones on the board. If you place an item on top of a square with points, you get those points. If they are negative, you lose them. Stones can only be placed adjacent to other similar objects. There are several game options to choose from, including four levels of difficulty.

The app's developer notes that Greed Free is “currently being offered as a free game,” meaning that future versions may come at a price, so grab it while you can.

Countdown to the Weekend

Probably one of the coolest and simplest apps of its kind, Countdown to the Weekend lets you know exactly how much time you have until the weekend arrives. If you're a party guy / girl, you shouldn't miss out on this app, and neither should your friends!
