Not only does Paris Hilton face possible jail time for the arrest on cocaine possession charges of this weekend, but she’s also standing to lose business, as Las Vegas clubs refuse to be associated with her.

Regardless of what critics say, Paris as a brand means very lucrative business, with the star making millions each year from her own products and releases, and endorsement deals.

By simply putting in an appearance at a club or a job at hosting a party, Paris stands to make very good money. In turn, a soiled image by an arrest on the presumption of cocaine possession means club owners don’t want her business anymore.

Insiders and club owners are telling People magazine that owners are already reconsidering their contracts with the socialite because they don’t want the bad publicity – and the police “curiosity,” for that matter.

“Because Vegas nightclubs are under so much scrutiny right now, I don’t know how welcome she would be,” one club executive, who has booked Paris for appearances in the past, reveals.

“Considering she’s busted for cocaine, people might assume that she’s going to the club either to use coke or she’s already on coke, and no club wants to be associated with that,” the same executive dishes.

There is also the question of the gaming and liquor licenses that clubs may lose if Paris is allowed booked, because the very suspicion of drugs being used on the premises can have devastating consequences for the club.

“A club would never be allowed to book Paris for an appearance right now,” another insider reveals for the same magazine. Publicity may be welcome, but being shut down or having a license suspended are not.

“A club would want to book her because of the press it would generate right now, but it would never happen because no one wants to jeopardize gaming licensing or liquor licensing,” the same insider explains.

Of course, Paris is not being banned from Vegas clubs because of her recent arrest – she will still be able to join the parties in all the venues, be they big or small, but there will be no preferential treatment for her anymore.

“Her bag would be checked before entering the club,” another club owner says for People.

Paris Hilton was arrested with .8 grams of cocaine in her possession. She’s facing a jail sentence of a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 4, and a fine of $5,000.
