Thermaltake didn't cut any corners when it created its newest eSports-series enclosure, a beast of a case that is made of steel and has everything a chassis needs, and much more.

Users keeping track of the motherboard market will know of the existence of the so-called E-ATX form factor.

Short for extended ATX, this sort of mainboard is quite a bit larger than the ATX, which used to be the biggest sort of desktop platform.

Unsurprisingly, motherboards of this sort are fairly rare and, naturally, enclosures capable of housing them are even more so.

Whether due to or in spite of this, Thermaltake decided to offer support for the big motherboard in the shape of a new addition to its eSports line of professional products.

The newcomer bears the name of Overseer RX-I and is a steel-wrought case that weighs 10.3 kilograms and measures 535 (H) x 220 (W) x 580 (D) mm.

Four exposed 5.25-inch drive bays exist, for optical disk drives (ODDs) or accessories like fan controllers and drive cages.

A number of 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch internal bays also exist, all of them with tool-free mounting, for convenience, as do three 200 mm blue LED fans (front and top), plus a 120 mm one at the back.

Furthermore, a hot-swap 2.5-inch/3.5-inch docking station exists at the top, for when users don't want to open the product up.

Not only that, but the support for E-ATX motherboards has a useful side benefit in the large internal space, meaning that long graphics cards (up to 34cm) can be placed on the inside.

Finally, the I/O panel on the front has two USB 2.0 ports, a pair of USB 3.0 connectors, eSATA and audio ports (output and microphone).

As for aesthetics, the product has front and top mesh panels and is painted black on both the inside and outside.

The newcomer should already be available for order, at the price of 102 Euro (about $140).
