After being taken over by SCi Entertainment, Eidos comes with news that will disappoint Tomb Raider and Hitman fans.

Both the seventh title from the Tomb Raider series, which should acquaint us to a new Lara Croft, as well as Hitman: Blood Money will be postponed for early 2006, Kikizo Games says.

Eidos motivates its decision by saying that they want both games to achieve their full potential and that they won't be released just for the sake of being on schedule.

Once SCi took over Eidos, the company got out of the financial difficulties, so there's no need to rush things.

Hitman will also be the subject of a movie which will feature Vin Diesel and it's likely that the new game will appear in conjunction with the movie.

As for Lara Croft, the screenshots and trailers published by Eidos promise a much better and inciting game then the last title: Lara Croft Angel of Darkness.
