Everybody's favorite game heroine, Lara Croft, will once again mark her return to consoles and PC systems all over the world for a new adventure starting November 21st. The game, developed by the same studio behind Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Crystal Dynamics, will be released by Eidos for all the platforms on the market: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii, DS and PC systems.

Tomb Raider: Underworld marks the first title in the franchise that is designed specifically for next generation consoles, according to the developers. One thing is certain, from what we've seen until now: the visuals are flawless and Lara looks better than ever. But looks are her last problem, since she will instead have to worry about the mythical hammer of the God Thor, a weapon rumored to have the power to smash mountains and destroy gods themselves. You can imagine that if such a weapon falls into the wrong hands, disaster strikes.

Along her journey, Lara will visit ancient ruins, collect clues and explore more areas than ever before, while fighting against the most dangerous enemies ever. Multi-leveled puzzles will put your mind to test, while the environments and all the strange traps will make you try your skills and reactions to bring a great experience in the company of the most beloved game heroine in the world.

"We're thrilled to bring back Lara Croft and Tomb Raider at Christmas time on all formats," said Patrick Melchior, Head of European Distribution and so are we. "Lara Croft has never looked, acted or played so realistically before. Tomb Raider: Underworld will delight fans and gamers alike as well as being a great gift for the Christmas season!"

It's worth noting that the Wii and DS versions of the title will come with exclusive features and content, such as archaeological toolkits and compressed air guns.
