14 DAY TRIAL // Basketball pro Lamar Odom, husband of reality star Khloe Kardashian, was involved in a car accident while in New York City to attend a funeral and shoot a Nike add. He was not injured, but two other people are believed to be in serious condition.
Despite reports that Khloe was with him in the car at the time of the crash and that the collision was “near fatal,” Lamar was most likely alone in the chauffeur-driven vehicle, TMZ writes.
“According to our sources, Lamar was being driven by a car service yesterday in Queens when the car struck a motorcyclist and a 15-year-old boy,” the e-zine reports.
“Lamar was not injured – but we’re told he was particularly upset by the accident (and even crying afterward) since he was already in town for his cousin’s funeral,” TMZ adds.
However, Khloe wrote on her Twitter page a couple of days ago, that Lamar would fly to NYC to shoot a new add for Nike. She would accompany him, she wrote, gushing about how happy she was to see him work.
“We were originally told Khloe was in the car with Lamar, but that was not the case. According to our sources, Khloe is in NYC with Lamar but was not with him at the time,” TMZ adds.
Other reports in the US press say that the motorcyclist and the 15-year-old boy were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Further details on their condition are not known.
In other Lamar and Khloe-related news, the couple continue to be trying for a baby, while the reality star remains just as open about her fertility problems as she was months ago. She’s believed to be working with “a team of people” in order to get pregnant.
Just recently, Khloe stepped out with her step-kids, a boy and a girl Lamar has from a previous relationship, for an ice cream date with one of their friends.
