14 DAY TRIAL // Lamar Odom’s whereabouts were the topic of intense speculation only a few days ago but, according to fresh reports, he’s now back home with his wife Khloe Kardashian, trying to come to terms with his alleged drug addiction.
He’s also been seen in public for the first time since these reports emerged online.
TMZ has video of the NBA star alone in his car, grabbing tacos at a drive-through and carefully avoiding all questions from the paparazzi on the accuracy of the crack cocaine addiction reports and his marriage to Khloe.
However, it’s good to note that he’s smiling and, perhaps just as important, that he’s wearing his wedding ring.
In a separate post, the same celebrity gossip e-zine reports that Lamar is now back home with Khloe, after spending a few days at a hotel, presumably doing drugs.
Admittedly, Khloe still believes that their marriage can be saved, as long as he seeks help, which she’s trying to convince him to do right now.
“Odom returned to his LA pad Monday after going off the grid for several days. Sources tell us both Lamar and Khloe are inside the home and addressing some serious issues, including Lamar's out-of-control crack problem,” TMZ writes.
“We're told there's still no talk of divorce – and Khloe is determined to help Lamar get his life back on track. One source tells us Lamar is ‘open to reason and listening to the people who love him the most’... a drastic change from a week ago, when L.O. rejected an attempted intervention,” adds the report.
“We're told no decision has been made on possible treatment, but Lamar is ‘receptive’,” the e-zine further says.
Earlier reports indicated that Odom had packed his bags and moved out of the house after Khloe and her family staged an intervention. Khloe had known of his 2-year drug problem for a long time and had tried repeatedly to help him without telling one what she was going through.
