Lady Gaga says “Born This Way” album will be the “greatest album of this decade”
Lady Gaga says “Born This Way” album will be the “greatest album of this decade”

Never say Lady Gaga doesn’t dream big or doesn’t push herself to beat the previous records she sets. Speaking of the upcoming album “Born This Way,” the diva has revealed it will possibly include as much as 20 tracks, while also aspiring to become the biggest album of the decade.

The singer spoke about the upcoming album while in concert in Poland, MTV News informs – and she made sure fans understood the entire material stems out of love for them and is dedicated to them entirely.

At the same time, Gaga took a jab at fellow pop stars by saying that “Born This Way” will go against the trends for the simple reason that everybody these days seems to think freedom is trendy.

“I promise you, I’ll never let you down. And not for nothing: The album's finished and it’s [expletive]-ing really good. So whatever this is, whatever you just did for all of us... I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you,” Gaga told her little Monsters, with tears in her eyes.

“The funny thing is that some people have reduced freedom to a brand,” Gaga added, seemingly attacking fellow pop starts who have tried to emulate her look and sound in recent months.

“They think that it’s trendy now to be free. They think it’s trendy to be excited about your identity. When in truth, there is nothing trendy about Born This Way,” the diva added.

Gaga went on to say that being free had nothing to do with applying a particular shade of lipstick or going out in public wearing a “[expletive]-ing meat dress” because it had to come from inside.

She also offered a bit more details about the album: namely that she didn’t know which of the tracks to include on it, which meant she might actually put as much as 20 songs on it, much to the delight of fans.

“I can’t decide, really, because I think that times are different, you know. It used to be kind of a faux pas to put out too much music on your album, but I feel like you guys deserve all of the records I do, ‘cause I work hard on them. So who knows, you might get, like, 20 new Gaga songs,” she said on the same occasion.
