Being Lady Gaga must mean being accustomed to crazy incidents, one would assume. However, a recent occurrence took even the singer by surprise: she woke up to find her garage packed with Monsters.

Her fans, not the other kind of “monsters,” that is.

Writing on her official Twitter page, Gaga shared the funny (but potentially dangerous, if you think about it) story with her other fans, those who did not come up with the idea to try to get into her home through her garage.

Us Weekly has all the details: Gaga and friends had been staying at a family in Peru. She woke up in the dead of night for some Thanskgiving leftovers, when she had what one may only assume it was the biggest surprise of her life.

“#MONSTERFACT When Gaga is asleep, try to break into the garage, sing loud as possible + ring the doorbell repeatedly,” Gaga wrote on her Twitter with the hashtags “#happeningnow” and “#badkids.”

Because she’s not the kind to keep a secret for too long, she also explained what exactly it was that was happening.

“Thanksgiving story: woke up for leftovers in kitchen (naked) — stumbled on security camera revealing 35 monsters in my garage. #why #iloveu” Gaga wrote.

“I tried to figure out how to slide stuffing under the door, but there’s no cat-flap,” she joked.

The aforementioned celebrity publication notes that Gaga did not call the police or alert the authorities in any way but neither did she, we believe, open her door to invite all 35 Monsters in for a late-night snack with her.

At least the fans didn’t get arrested because their idol has such a good sense of humor.

Gaga has a reputation for how close she is to her fans, to whom she lovingly refers as “Monsters.” She goes by the nickname “Mother Monster” so that in itself should be an indication of how solid their relationship is – at least, for a superstar and her fans.
