LG revealed 4K-capable ultra high definition television sets at IFA 2013, then at CES 2014 and during the time since, but its range of TVs set for 2014 hasn't come out yet. That will soon change, though.

The company took some time to let the world know that its 4K Ultra HD TVs with ULTRA IPS, ULTRA HD, 4K 3D and ULTRA Surround sound system technologies would debut before the second quarter of the year.

Since it's already April and, thus, the second quarter of 2014, that means that all the displays, in sizes of up to 105 inches in diagonal, will come out over the next two and a half months or so.

Maybe they'll even reach stores in time for Easter, which falls on April 20. Sure, there isn't as big a tradition to buy gifts for Easter as there is for Christmas, but some still believe in the Easter Bunny, or in the spirit of it.

The TVs will have a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and the TruMotion 200 Hz technology (refresh rate of 200 Hz, which is well beyond the 120 Hz minimum needed for 3D support). Only the UB8500 will lack it, having TruMotion 100Hz instead.

Finally, LG's TVs will run the webOS Smart TV software platform, instead of Android or some version of Linux. Sadly, exact dates of arrival or prices continue to be hoarded.
