LG Korea has launched a new mobile phone, which seems to also act like a PDA a, LG K8100. The PDA-phone is powered by an Intel X Scale PXA272 416MHz processor and runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 platform.

The phone has slide-out keypad, a 2.4 inch QVGA LCD main display capable of 240 x 320 pixels resolution, 64MB RAM, 128MB Flash, 100MB of internal memory (rumor) and miniSD slot. LG's K8100 sports dual cameras, front and back - 2 megapixels and 3 megapixels, respectively. Its network part seems slightly good by quality, and rich by quantity featuring Bluetooth 1.2, 802.11b Wi-Fi, IrDA, USB 1.1, EV-DO, and support for radio LAN, which enables the use of radio Internet services. The phone is said to have capabilities for playing audio files, picture editing and such as well.

Unfortunately, the PDA-phone it's too good to be available in the US and Europe for the moment or anytime soon, but users can only hope that they we'll get their hands on this Asian little toy.
