Summer is all about sun, beach, sand and many other orange things. It's also about LG enV, from Verizon Wireless, which will be available from now on in this color too.

LG VX9900 enV will also come in the same pack with some very good-looking portable speakers from this company. That's because summer is about loud music too, and not only that which is available in the device's headphones.

Aside the orange color, LG enV brings just about the same performances that it provided in the previous color version. The phone comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera which is also capable of video recording at reasonable performances.

Probably the most useful feature is that it also slides to reveal a full QWERTY keypad. That is quite unexpected, considering the fact that, at first look, this seems like a regular candybar handset.

The LCD display is capable of supporting a resolution of up to 240 x 320 pixels. Images and video recordings look excellent on it and prove to be just the right solution for a wide range of actions. There is also an external screen, much smaller and capable of a resolution of only 128 x 160 pixels.

Connectivity is available through Bluetooth and 3G, which ensures quite high transfer rates. The fact that it also supports voice mail capabilities might prove to be useful both when on holiday and for normal use too. Moreover, LG VX9900 supports mobile email capabilities and also has an evolved internet browser in order to keep its user constantly informed.

Moreover, there is also 50 MB of included memory and a microSD card slot capable of supporting up to 2GB of additional memory. This might turn out as being highly useful, especially for storing all the pictures captured with this summer phone.

LG VX9900 enV is available from now on for an estimate price of USD 150 with a contract at Verizon Wireless after a USD50 mail-in rebate.
