Dirk Jan van Heteren from LG Electronics said that the South-Korean company is currently working on a new revolutionary handset, which will be running a Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition operating system. With this launch, LG is going to make its first move on the Windows Mobile smartphone market, and, based on what Dirk Jan van Heteren has declared, LG will come up with a whole new approach in the design and operation of the new device.

Their future smartphone will have a candy-bar form factor and will be controlled with the help of a touchpanel system that will have integrated the phone's keypad. It will also use the well known heat sensitive technology that LG has been using in its latest top-notch mobile phone models, like the Chocolate Series line-up. Rumors say that the phone will be running Microsoft's unreleased, yet, Windows Mobile Magneto, a great plus for LG in the eyes of users around the world.

Having seen what the South-Korean manufacturer has been launching on the mobile phone market in the past few years, we can only expect a revolutionary handset, working on a, probably, revolutionary operating system (Microsoft's Magneto), which, like its predecessors (the Chocolates) will become a worldwide standard.

In conclusion, there are no specifications or pictures of it in the wild, so we just have to wait and see what LG is going to come up with and hope it will raise to our expectations.
