After the success of the Prada touchscreen phone

Several LG phones have been a massive success on the market, including the Chocolate, Shine and the recently released Prada. This is why better and more innovative products are expected from LG in the future as well.

According to a patent filling, named "Mobile communication terminal having multiple displays and a data processing method thereof," that was discovered by Unwired View, LG is planning to roll out a new handset that will include twin-displays and will allow its user to navigate with either a stylus or finger.

Apparently, the lower screen will be used for controlling the device, somewhat like in the case of the Nintendo DS, replacing the standard numeric keypad found in most phones.

The user will also be able to drag objects between the two screens, much like in the case of a multi monitor and Windows PC. Add this up to all bits of information that were previously discovered, like the moving icon interface, and you'll definitely start to anxiously wait for this phone's release.

To better explain how the interface works, the company has used fish as a visual metaphor for how the icons can interact depending on the users' input on the screen.

For example, when receiving a new text message, a fish would swim up to it and swallow the envelope, but several other fish represent each one an option.

Moreover, the icons (in this case fish) would move closer to the tap area, making it easier for the user to choose the right one. The phone might even choose the nearest icon to launch an application. This brings an entirely new meaning to a phones user interface, making handsets more fun to use.
