Luxury brand Versace seems set to bring its first mobile phone to the market in India, the Versace Unique where the new device would sport a pretty high price tag when put on sale.

The new Versace Unique is a handset that resulted from a collaboration between LG, ModeLabs and Versace, and should sport a price tag of 450,000 INR in India, no less than $9,964, the guys over at CellPassion reported.

As one can easily imagine the new mobile phone was not meant to offer great communication capabilities, as it was mainly designed for those who love luxury goods.

Although the LG Versace Unique offers support for 3G networks, the device seems to be much more appealing when its outer elements are taken into consideration.

There, it sports a pure ceramic frame with an 18K gold or 316L stainless steel frame, while also including crocodile leather on the back.

All these super-expensive materials are complemented by a sapphire crystal touchscreen display, which is equally appealing, one should agree.

We should also mention that this mobile phone was hand assembled, which also adds to its increased price tag.

As for the phone specifications that it arrives on the market with, we can add Dolby Surround Sound to that support for 3G networks.

A 5-megapixel photo snapper has been included into the mix as well, and the same applies to media player, Bluetooth connectivity, and the like.

However, nothing is mind-blowing on the phone capabilities of this device, even if one can not say the same when the exterior design of the device is involved.

Of course, this is not the first luxury mobile phone that is being delivered to the market, nor would it be the last one, that's for sure.

The Versace Unique, made by South Korean handset vendor LG, was announced officially in May this year.
