LG has recently launched its HSDPA mobile phone, the KH1300, which supports download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps.

The mobile phone manufacturer claims that with the LG KH1300 users will be able to download one song in approximately 7 seconds and a 40 MB music video file in just about 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Users can at the moment take advantage of the WCDMA roaming service in 21 different countries including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, and Australia.

The company has also announced that it hopes to expand the number of countries to 47 by June this year.

The handset also comes with several other features, although not as exciting, including multitasking, a text viewer, media player with support for various file formats, 2 inch 260k color screen with a QVGA resolution, 1.3 megapixel camera, portable data storage and personal data management like bank account or credit card information.

It comes in a slider form factor with a nice and sleek design that will go nicely with users looking for a less flashy mobile phone as well as the people looking for a stylish handset. Its HSDPA capabilities combined with its good looks will make the KH1300 a very appealing mobile.

Unfortunately, this mobile phone is going to be available only in Korea, so people from the rest of the world will have to settle for the recently released LG Shine. The mobile phone measures 97 x 47 x 16.7/18.9 mm and weighs 88 grams or 92 grams depending on the battery it is equipped with. Users will be able to purchase a KH1300 for around 400,000 KRW.
