Mobile phone manufacturer LG has announced that it will be adding two other handsets to their product offering, the Shine TV and the Shine Folder TV. In this case, the phones aren't new, but upgraded T-DMB capable versions of the slider and clamshell Shine handsets.

Aside from the added functionality, the features remain the same, with the two phones still including a 2 megapixel camera, 2.2 inch main display on the original shine and a 1.1 inch external LCD on the clamshell. The T-DMB versions, dubbed the Shine TV and the Shine Folder TV, will allow users to watch digital broadcasts while on the move.

Although each of them includes a compact aerial inside the case, their size remains the same. The memory is the key difference between the two Shine versions with the Folder including 512MB, while the Slider offers twice as much, namely 1GB worth of storage space, which should be enough to fit most users' needs. Design-wise the two phones are just as pleasing to the eye as before, and come with an added pop-out antenna, to be expected in the case of T-DMB devices.

According to LG, the Folder will be sold for an estimate price of $531 and become available through Korean carriers SK Telecom, KTF and LG Telecom, as the SB630, KB6300 and LB6300 respectively, while the Slider will be available only through LG Telecom for a similar price, bearing the name of PB2500. There's no info on whether the handsets will be released on other parts of the world, but chances of it being available outside of Asia are rather slim.
