AT&T will be thickening their line of affordable music phones with LG Trax soon enough. The clamshell is capable of providing some of the most evolved sound performances and also has to offer a large number of capabilities at rather high standards.

LG Trax is especially designed for the mobile phone users who lead an active life and enjoy listening to music at all times. The phone packs several entertainment options which make handling media files easy and enjoyable.

There is an external touch pad which makes changing tracks possible and it can also stop or play different media files without having to open the clamshell. Moreover, LG Trax is capable of supporting some of the most frequently used types of media files. Just to make sure that there is enough space for storing all these, the phone also comes equipped with a microSD memory card slot capable of supporting up to 4GB of data.

LG Trax comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x zoom. It will manage to make captures of only an average quality. Still, there is a wide range of options meant to customize the shutter tones, brightness, white balance, color effects. In combination with a more powerful camera, all these options would have made LG Trax a fully capable phone model. Next to the music rendering performances, this low quality camera turns out to be a disadvantage.

The fact that this is a 3G HSDPA enabled mobile phone makes it possible for its user to transfer data and media files at fast speeds from the A&T Video and Music services. Moreover, Bluetooth connectivity only adds to the high number of performances that this handset has to offer.

LG Trax will be available at all AT&T stores across the US starting with the third quarter of this year. No specification on the price that the clamshell will come at has been made up to this point.
