LG Electronics, a global leading provider of mobile phones and technology solutions, announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the first handset in the world to feature a transparent design, the new LG-GD900. The product comes as proof of the maker's commitment to deliver innovative aesthetic concepts to its users.

The fresh LG-GD900 perfectly fits into the company's line of highly acclaimed and stylish phones. It comes with a crystal, glass-like design, demonstrating that not only vivid colors are able to deliver stylish designs, but also the action of revealing the device in its purest form. The manufacturer has announced the LG-GD900 to strengthen its leadership in the mobile phone market and to expand its design portfolio with a new bold handset.

Although transparent, the LG-GD900 is also eye catching, being able to stand out from the crowd at all times, while also bringing a new look to its owner. The handset comes in a sliding form factor, and its translucent keypad illuminates a cool glow when opened, reflecting the sleek silver body of the mobile phone.

At the same time, the new handset does not come only with an impressive design, but also packs inside high-end technical features, as anyone would expect from a premium handset, among which we can count the presence of a dedicated Bluetooth headset, as well as 7.2Mbps HSDPA.

The maker does not provide too many details on the newly unveiled 13.4mm-thick transparent slider, but states that all the info on the “phone’s advanced features” will be available as soon as the handset is ready for launch, which is expected to happen in the second quarter of the ongoing year. Until then, those that will visit the MWC show in Barcelona these days will have the chance to take a glimpse at this beauty.
