The phone will be available in Q2

LG is showing at CTIA in Las Vegas the LG550, a 3G clamshell compatible with Sprint's CDMA network in USA.

The new handset features EV-DO technology, Bluetooth stereo support and a 1.3 megapixel camera. LG550 measures 96mm x 48mm x 20mm in size and weighs about 120 grams. It a has a rather bulky design, but thanks to it's external music controls it can still look cool. In addition to the phone features - an FM transmitter inside that can send tunes to the car radio. Other features includes microSD/TransFlash slot available for adding extra storage to the device, hands free speakerphone function along with speaker independent voice dialing, swappable faceplates and software for creating your own ring tones. It's main display is a 262k color, 176x220 pixel TFT unit, while the external sub-display is a 96 x 96 pixel 65k color TFT.

There is no info about it's carrier or price confirmed yet, but the LG550 should be available in the United States sometime in Q2.
