14 DAY TRIAL // T-Mobile's Optimus T, Sprint's Sanyo Zio and AT&T Motorola Flipside are now offered for free by RadioShack. All three Android-powered smartphones are on offer starting today, December 16th until December 24th. In addition, the Shack is also giving away a Plantronics Explorer 240 Bluetooth Headset with each purchase.
Customers who wish to get any of the three smartphones are required to subscribe for a new 2-year contract and a $10/month fee for LG Optimus T, 'Everything plan with data' for Sprint Sanyo Zio or a $25/month fee for Motorola Flipside. Those who qualify for plan upgrades are also eligible for the offer.
T-Mobile Optimus T is powered by a 600 MHz processor and runs the latest Android 2.2 Froyo platform, which is officially upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
It comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen with 262k colors and 320 x 480 pixel resolution, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off of the screen.
Other key features of the Optimus T include: HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, GPS with A-GPS support, 170 MB internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB card included), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support and 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording function.
Sanyo Zio features a 3.5-inch TFT WVGA (480 x 800 pixels resolution) touch-screen and runs Android 2.1 operating system.
