We already know that TELUS plans to offer the LG Optimus LTE tomorrow, but details on the phone’s pricing options were a bit scarce.

However, the folks over at MobileSyrup have just found out that the smartphone will be offered at a promotional price of $99.99 (75 EUR) with a new three-year agreement.

There’s no information on how long the promo will be available, but TELUS requires customers who want to take advantage of this offer to commit to a $50/month plan.

The bad news is that once the promotional offer ends, LG Optimus LTE price will go up to $299.99 (225 EUR) with a new three-year contract. Customers who do not want to commit to a long-term contract can purchase the Optimus LTE for a whopping $629.99 (475 EUR) price.

Other pricing options for TELUS LG Optimus LTE are available as well, such as: $579.99 (440 EUR) on a 1-year term, and $529.99 (400 EUR) with a 2-year agreement.

LG Optimus LTE will be TELUS’ first LTE device and will go live today, along with the carrier’s LTE network. Initially launched in South Korea, the Optimus LTE will be shipped in Canada with a free microSD memory card in the sales package.

Unfortunately, while South Koreans get a free 16GB memory card in the package, Canadians will only receive an 8GB microSD memory card.

This won’t make such a huge difference, as the smartphone only embeds 4GB of internal memory. In addition, LG Optimus LTE packs 1GB of RAM, as well microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The phone’s strong points are the powerful 1.5 GHz dual core processor, along with the impressive 8-megapixel camera, which features full HD (1080p) video recording.

Although it runs Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, the device will eventually get an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade later this year.
