LG's next Android flagship smartphone, the Optimus G is about to make its debut in the United States in early November.

AT&T already announced it would offer the LG Optimus G on November 1 for $199.99 USD on contract, with pre-orders starting later today.

However, AT&T is not the only carrier to sell the Optimus G in the US. Sprint has just announced the smartphone will go on sale on November 11 for the same amount, while pre-orders will kick off on November 1.

For the time being, there are no details on the no-term price, but AT&T's variant will be available for $549.99 USD outright, so Sprint's model should be around the same amount as well.

Unlike AT&T's version, this one will come with 32GB storage and no microSD card slot. In addition, the device will sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with advanced features, such as Time Catch Shot, “cheese shutter,” Smart Shutter and Low Light Shot Noise.

AT&T customers who wish to purchase the LG Optimus G should know that their device only packs an 8-megapixel main camera, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

Software-wise, both Optimus G variants are powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, integrated with Optimus 3.0 user interface. LG already confirmed an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update would be pushed through all Optimus G devices in December.

On the inside, Sprint Optimus G is equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor built on Krait architecture, an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Last but not least, the device boasts a large 4.7-inch True HD-IPS+ LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 768 x 1280 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
