As expected, Boost Mobile has just confirmed it will carry the LG Optimus F7 mid-range Android smartphone beginning June 27.

Customers will be able to purchase the handset for only $300/€225 outright, which is a decent price for a Jelly Bean smartphone packing a dual-core CPU and a large touchscreen display.

According to Boost Mobile, LG Optimus F7 will “operate on the Sprint 3G and 4G LTE networks, with blazing fast 4G LTE available to Boost Mobile customers in 110 markets and counting.”

As we mentioned earlier, the Optimus F7 will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but an Android 4.2.2 upgrade is not out of the question yet.

“The LG Optimus F7 is the ideal smartphone for customers looking for a premium, high-performance Android device without a contract. In addition to a high-speed 4G LTE experience, Boost Mobile rewards each monthly unlimited customer with shrinking payments for simply paying on time,” said Andre Smith, vice president, Boost Mobile.

LG also packed some of its own software inside the Optimus F7, such as QSlide 2.0, QuickMemo, and VuTalk.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Another strong point of this mid-range Android phone is the hyper-vibrant 4.7-inch True HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

The phone also boasts an enhanced 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

“Packed with features that enhance productivity and creativity, the LG Optimus F7 allows Boost Mobile customers to create and share content with speed and ease. Whether you’re multitasking with QSlide 2.0, creating and sharing content with QuickMemo or collaborating with VuTalk, this smartphone has everything you need to stay on top of your game,” concluded Georg Rasinski, director, mobile phones brand management, LG Electronics USA.
