Verizon Wireless is about to introduce another 4G LTE smartphone, which will probably compete with Samsung’s DROID Charge.

LG Lucid 4G leaked a few weeks ago, but it was initially known LG Cayman. The first press shot of the smartphone was spotted online earlier this month, but no details on its specs sheet have been unveiled until today.

However, it appears that the folks over at Droid-Life were able to get their hands on an internal document that contains LG Lucid 4G’s full specs sheet.

According to them, the smartphone is expected to arrive at Verizon Wireless on March 29, though this has yet to be officially confirmed by the carrier.

Keep in mind that this is a mid-range Android smartphone, so expect LG Lucid 4G to be price under $200 with a new two-year agreement.

Unfortunately, the Lucid 4G comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box. It will be interesting to see whether LG plans to offer an Ice Cream Sandwich update for this device later this year.

Nevertheless, the smartphone has some solid features to offer, including 4G LTE support, along with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and 8GB of internal memory.

LG Lucid 4G packs a medium capacity 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 350 hours of standby time or up to 8 hours of continuous usage. In truth, we doubt that this Android-based smartphone will be able to last that long.

Furthermore, the smartphone sports a 4.0-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen that supports 800 x 480 pixels resolution and 262k colors. It is also worth mentioning that the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

In the connectivity front, LG Lucid 4G offers users Bluetooth version 3.0, Wi-Fi and Mobile Hotspot functionality, along with Wi-Fi Direct and built-in GPS.
