We reported a few days ago that LG L35, the cheapest Android smartphone in the L III series, leaked online via User Agent Profile on the handset maker’s official website.

Today, UnwiredView reports that the smartphone has been officially introduced in Germany, but not during a dedicated launch event. Instead, LG listed the L35 on the German website, along with its specs sheet and press renders.

Unfortunately, there are no details on availability and price tag, but judging by its specs, it should be the cheapest L III series smartphone.

For the time being, the LG L35 has been confirmed to be available in black and white in several European countries, including Hungary, Italy, Portugal and Spain. However, the L35 may be introduced in additional countries as well, though we don’t have any confirmation on this yet.

Talking about specs, LG L35 is said to ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box. The information is not yet confirmed on LG Germany’s website, but according to the previous leak, the L35 should be powered by the latest version of Android.

We will keep an eye out for any additional details on this one and will update as soon as we have new info on the matter.

Hardware-wise, LG L35 is far from being impressive, but it wasn’t intended anyway. Aimed at first-time smartphone users or customers who can’t afford more expensive smartphones, the L35 is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor.

It also packs only 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage, but users can further expand internal memory via microSD card slot (up to 32GB).

On the back, LG L35 comes with a sub-par 3-megapixel photo snapper with 4x digital zoom and WVGA video recording. There’s no mention of a secondary camera in the front, so we must assume it lacks one.

LG L35 sports a small 3.2-inch IPS LCD HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display and offers a wide range of connectivity options, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB and GPS with A-GPS support.

It is also worth mentioning that the L35 will come packed with LG’s unique features such as KnockCode, QuickMemo and LG SmartWorld. It also provides Google’s full suite of services and apps.

The budget-friendly smartphone is powered by a 1540 mAh battery, which should provide up to 350 hours of standby time or up to 5 hours of talk time.
