LG introduced the G4c mid-range smartphone about a week ago, and we thought that it would take at least one month until the company makes it available on the market.

Surprisingly, the LG G4c has just gone on pre-order in the UK at major retailer Carphone Warehouse. Sadly, the phone is only available with carrier contracts, so customers who wish to purchase an unlocked and SIM-free LG G4c will have to wait slightly longer.

Still, the G4c is available for free with monthly installments starting at £15.50 on contract. Customers can choose from three color options: Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.

All three colors are now available for pre-order online, but if you plan to get in store, only the Metallic Gray is available.

According to Carphone Warehouse, those who pre-order the LG G4c should receive their smartphones beginning June 8.

Lollipop and quad-core processor

The mid-range handset ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with LG Optimus UX 4.0 UI on top.

The G4x is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory. Obviously, the smartphone packs microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, LG G4c sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and 294ppi (pixel per inch).

On the back, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a second 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

We also know LG G4c will offer LTE support, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with AGPS and GLONASS, NFC (Near Field Communication), and 3.5mm audio jack.

Last but not least, LG G4c is powered by a 2,540 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
