Unveiled last week, LG’s new flagship smartphone, the G3, is already available for purchase in South Korea. However, it will take a pretty long time until LG G3 reaches other countries.

However, Android enthusiasts and fans in the UK will be pleased to know that they will be among the first to be offered the chance to buy the LG G3.

The smartphone is now available for pre-order via major retailer Clove UK. Those who want to make sure that they will own the G3 the moment it goes on sale can pre-order the flagship smartphone for no less than £500 (€615 / $835) outright.

According to Clove, the G3 should be available for purchase beginning July 1, but the release date could change if LG decides that it cannot deliver it on time.

Clove offers the Metallic Black and Shine Gold versions of the LG G3, but it’s not the only retailer that has kicked off pre-orders for the handset.

MobileFun, another UK-based retailer, has just started taking pre-orders for the LG G3 and is asking the same amount as Clove, so it’s up to customers to decide which seller they prefer.

It’s also worth mentioning that MobileFun claims that the first LG G3 stock will arrive in about one month. Only the black and gold versions of the G3 are available at this UK-based retailer.

Last but not least, Carphone Warehouse has promised that it will open pre-orders for LG G3 on June 3, but there are no details on the upfront price yet.

However, we expect the smartphone to be available in no less than three color options, including Metallic Black, Shine Gold and Silk White.

For those unaware of the phone’s specs sheet, here is a quick recap. LG G3 will ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box, along with LG’s latest UI on top.

The smartphone will be equipped with a powerful 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM. LG G3 will pack 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD memory card.

Still, the phone’s main selling point is the stunning 5.5-inch True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution and 534 ppi (pixel per inch).

On a side note, LG has announced that the G3 will also be available in 32GB variant, which is supposed to pack no less than 32GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot.
