One of the smartphones that South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics will make official next week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the LG G2 Mini, which has been fully detailed today.

The handset, teased last week on LG’s official Facebook page, will arrive with most of the features LG G2 sported last year, including the rear buttons, but it will be a bit smaller.

According to a recent article on gsminfo.nl, the device is set to land on shelves with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a qHD resolution, while being powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Moreover, the new handset is expected to launch with 1GB of RAM packed inside, as well as with 8GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

The smartphone is said to have an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3MP front camera to allow users to make video calls while on the go.

A recent article on The Verge notes that LG will pack it with a 2440mAh battery, and that a dual-SIM version of the device will also be available.

In addition to featuring support for 4G LTE networks out there, the smartphone is said to come with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system loaded on top right from the start.

Moreover, gsminfo.nl notes that the upcoming mobile phone will feature various software customizations from LG, such as the Guest Mode, and more.

LG G2 Mini is expected to measure 130 mm in height and 66 mm in width, mainly due to the fact that LG did not pack it with a very small bezel, the way it did with the LG G2.

Apparently, LG will make the new smartphone available for purchase not long after the MWC 2014 unveiling. The phone should arrive in Russia in March, while set to arrive in the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and Europe soon after.

Users in the Netherlands will see it on shelves sometime in April in Black and White color versions, it seems. Unfortunately, no info on the pricing of LG G2 Mini has been provided as of now.
