Later this month, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics will make official a new large handset running under the Android operating system, in the form of LG G Pro 2, and some more info on the device is now available.

LG has already confirmed the availability of the smartphone, but did not offer too many details on what users should expect it to include.

However, a recent article on ETNews claims that the company will pack the upcoming smartphone with a high-power speaker system.

LG G Pro 2 is said to sport a 1W speaker, which will be the most powerful included in any mobile phone out there, the news site claims. On top of that, LG is expected to include a thickened bass booster inside the new device.

Apparently, the smartphone will be able to offer one of the cleanest, fullest, and most powerful sound experiences available on mobile devices. Overall, LG G Pro 2 should be able to deliver 30% higher output when compared to its predecessor, the LG Optimus G Pro.

According to the aforementioned news site, LG is also planning the inclusion of a Smart Listening application on upcoming device, so as to allow users to enjoy better control over the sound experience they receive from it.

LG did confirm before that the new mobile phone would be able to deliver a better sound quality, but it did not provide specific info on what that would involve.

LG G Pro is expected to arrive on shelves with a 5.9-inch touchscreen display and a quad-core processor, while featuring 3GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera with enhanced OIS capabilities. It should run under Android 4.4 KitKat.

The mobile phone is expected to become official at the MWC show in Barcelona, so stay tuned for specific details on its hardware specifications and capabilities.
