LG’s latest tablet, the G Pad 8.3, has been available on the market for some time now and it has even been launched under the Google Play Edition banner.

Not so long ago, I brought you news of a leak which indicated that the tablet might be headed for Verizon with 4G LTE in tow. After all, such a feat could get a capable tablet like this noticed.

Now, it appears the product will be available with the Big Red shortly, as the LG G Pad 8.3 model (VK810) carrying support for LTE bands 4 and 13, the exact same 4G LTE bands Verizon uses, has been spotted going through the almighty FCC.

The 8.3-inch is a nice tablet featuring a Full HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7GHz complete with 2GB of RAM. Currently, the device runs Android 4.2.2 out of the box, but an update to Android 4.4 has been said to be in the works.
