After being launched in several markets around the world, LG’s latest G 8.3 Android tablet has arrived in Taiwan, available in both black and white coloring options.

As it often happens in the country, the device will be launched under a different name and will go by the name of LG G Tablet 8.3, says GSMInsider. Apart from that nothing is changed, specifications remaining the same.

As a quick refresh, the LG Tablet 8.3 sports an 8.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Power comes from a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. LG offers 16GB of RAM with the new tablet, extendable via a microSD card.

The LG slate has two cameras (5MP rear camera with BSI and Auto Focus and a 1.3MP frontal snapper), Miracast, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, microUSB and audio jack.

So far only the Wi-Fi version has been available in the country, but the 3G or 4G LTE model should land on the market soon. The LG G Tablet 8.3 can be purchased for the price of TW$9,999 / $337 / €248.
