LG launched the low-specced G Pad 7.0 not so long ago, in an attempt to provide competition for Samsung’s newly-introduced Galaxy Tab 4 7.0.

Now, those of you who were waiting for the LTE version should know that you’ll be able to grab it from AT&T soon enough. The slate will arrive at the carrier starting August 8 and will sell for $149 / €111 on a two-year contract.

Or you’ll be able to get it for $12.50 / €9 a month without the additional contract and services on top. Furthermore, if you are planning to jump onboard with a LG G2, G3 or the G Flex, you should know you’ll be able to add the tablet to your contract for only $0.99 / €0.74.

The device arrives with a 7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display and draws life from a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and has a 4,000 mAh battery estimated to provide up to 10 hours of use.

Adopters of the slate will also find that the tablet arrives with the Knock Code function, which replaces the standard PIN lock, allowing users to knock on the display to gain access.

Keep an eye on AT&T if you want to grab the slate when it arrives.
