One of the smartphones that mobile phone users in India will soon be able to purchase in their country is the LG G Flex, which has just been officially priced on the company’s local website.

The new handset can be seen on this page on LG India’s portal with a price tag of Rs. 69,999 ($1.116/€828) attached to it, the same as initially rumored for it.

Furthermore, the handset has been listed on SnapDeal.com at the same cost, though some retailers in India will make it available for purchase for much less.

In fact, Mahesh Telecom has unveiled on Saturday that the first stock of the device has landed, and that it will release it at only Rs. 63,999 ($1.021/€757). Others might follow suit.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the LG G Flex was made official back in October 2013 with a 6-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 720p resolution, and with a curved design.

Moreover, the smartphone sports a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor inside, a 450 MHz Adreno 330 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. LG G Flex also comes to the market with 32GB of internal memory, as well as with a 3500 mAh battery.

Moreover, the new mobile phone offers support for 3G HSPA+ networks, as well as WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. LG packed it with built-in GPS receiver and NFC capabilities as well.

On the back, the new mobile phone sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and support for full HD video recording, paired with a 2.1 MP front-facing camera for making video calls.

LG G Flex was launched with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top. As fonearena notes, the smartphone is expected to become available for purchase in India later this month, so stay tuned for additional info on the matter.
