AT&T has recently added to its offering the LG CF360, a new affordable mobile phone targeted at those who would rather spend less on a wireless capable device. According to the company, the handset would be a “sleek entertainment phone,” and we're talking here about a slider that includes mainly basic low-end features.

The price of LG CF360 also reflects its capabilities. The mobile phone operator offers it for only $29.99 with a 2-year contract and after a mail-in rebate. Those who would like to acquire the handset free of an AT&T agreement will have to pay $229.99 for it.

The LG CF360 comes to the carrier’s lineup featuring support for quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity (850 / 1900 MHz). Its 3G capabilities allow for high-speed data transfer, as well as EDGE Class 10 high-speed data network support. In addition, it sports a 2-inch TFT QVGA display that offers a 240 x 320 resolution and 65K, along with a 1.3-megapixel snapper.

The specification list of this entry-level mobile phone also shows Bluetooth 2.0 and USB connectivity, as well as a microSD card slot that supports memory cards of up to 16GB in capacity. The LG CF360 includes features like AT&T Navigator with Maps, which can provide users with turn-by-turn driving directions, maps, and real-time traffic alerts, AT&T Mobile Music, Video Share and MEdia Net.

Also included with the device are Instant Messaging capabilities for AOL, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messenger, as well as Email services. The handset measures only 3.97 x 1.89 x 0.66 inches and weighs no more than 3.51 ounces. Its Li-Ion 910 mAh battery is able to provide users with up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 10.4 days of standby time.
