In one of our articles posted on Monday we brought you news about a possible LG netbook that is presumed to be launched sometime in mid October. The news came to confirm that the market for low-cost, small-sized computer systems is growing at a fast pace. In fact, LG isn't the only manufacturer that is rumored to release a competitor for ASUS' Eee PC; Toshiba, Sony, Fujitsu and Nec are also said to be working on their own version of a netbook.

But back to the LG's X110; recent rumors indicate that the Korean company is going to have its netbook built by Micro Star International. The main reason behind these new rumors is that MSI is already the main manufacturer for LG's notebook line-up. On top of that, Micro Star International is also one of the Taiwanese manufacturers that have already released a netbook of their own. In fact, MSI's Wind has been extensively claimed one of the best alternatives to ASUS' Eee PC.

Unfortunately, at this point the information and technical details about LG's X110 are rather scarce, but according to some leaked bits of information, this ?399 netbook will come with standard memory of 2GB of DDR2 RAM. This is an improvement as compared to the competitors of the X110, most of which provide only 1GB of memory. LG's netbook is also expected to come with 120GB of storage space and an LCD display size of approximately 9-inch. One of the models is said to sport a 3GB HSDPA/HSUPA modem.

At this point we can't say for certain which processor will power the X110, but rumors seem to indicate that this is also going to be part of the Intel Atom-based bunch. Until LG steps forward to confirm the X110, we are only left with the speculations or leaked info on the new netbook.
