14 DAY TRIAL // South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics announced today officially its second New Chocolate phone, the BL20. Following the introduction of LG Chocolate BL40, the new handset comes to the market in a sliding form factor and should become available for purchase in the UK starting with the fourth quarter of the ongoing year via O2.
The new BL20 comes with a 5-megapixel photo snapper that includes auto focus, video recording and flash capabilities and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, and sports a slim body, measuring only 12.3mm in depth. In addition, it features touch-sensitive controls on its sides, as well as a series of other capabilities, like Widget Hotkeys for handset personalization, or Clear Memo Capture, which enables users to capture text, handwritten notes and drawings.

The specification list of the new mobile phone also includes EDGE, tri-band GSM (850 or 900/1800/1900) connectivity, a 2.4-inch QVGA display that boasts a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and support for 262K colors, USB/PC Sync capabilities, Messaging and Email support, WAP 2.0, FM Radio, Speaker Phone, media player with support for MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / WMA and MPEG4 / QVGA H.263 files, 60MB of internal memory and MicroSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space.
LG's New Chocolate BL20 sports a 900mAh Li-Ion battery that can deliver up to five hours of talk time or up to 450 hours of standby time, measures 106.9 x 50.8 x 12.3 mm and weighs 115 grams.
