14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that the development team at TT Games is at the moment working with publisher Warner Bros. Entertainment to create an entirely new video game based around real world toys, which is set to be launched later in the year and might be revealed in time for the E3 2015 event in June.
The information comes from a source inside the industry that's familiar with the creation of the new experience and has talked to Videogamer, but no information about its mechanics or the included stories has been offered.
Warner Bros. has not commented on the rumor and the company will probably keep quiet about the project before it is ready to officially unveil it.
The LEGO video game title based on toys is designed to compete directly with both Skylanders from Activision and Disney Infinity from Disney, two titles that have managed to show how successful such experiences can be commercially.
TT Games has not worked on any project so ambitious until now and it will be interesting to see whether they will try to introduce anything entirely new to the genre or if they will simply settle for delivering the kind of mechanics the public is already accustomed to.
Warner Bros. will probably seek to deliver a big advertising campaign for the LEGO title, which can create a large number of virtual experiences based on the various properties of the company.

An associate producer working at the studio has been talking about the fact that the company is trying to push the boundaries as much as possible with its titles and that an announcement about a new title might be made soon.
The big project for TT Games at the moment is the LEGO Jurassic World title, which will arrive in June alongside the movie with the same name and will allow players to access stories from all the previous installments.
A LEGO Marvel's Avengers experience will also be launched in the fall and will give gamers a chance to control the various superheroes from the Marvel universe, although it is unclear whether just the first movie will be included or if the story coming this year will be featured as well.
