Via Computer Video Games, we found out that UK veteran developer Traveller's Tales just licensed another game from LEGO, focused on the massive DC Comics superhero Batman. The news site quotes unnamed sources which claim developer Traveller's Tales is already working on its next Lego themed game. Work is underway to create the franchise follow-up, brand new adventures of the Caped Crusader in a LEGO brick Gotham City bursting with animated life. News come as a flash, since it's just days ahead the announced release of LEGO Star Wars II, the next chapter in the successful series.

In fact, LEGO Star Wars II is already getting sneak peek previews prior to the next week's anticipated launch. Brick made space cities and ships supplement the marvel of human ingenuity called LEGO, proving once and for all that brick games are handy to all ages. Professional voice-overs instill life to the hand painted characters of the series, ready to take the journey farther than the movies ever did.

While Traveller's Tales has not officially commented on what their next Lego video game will be about, Computer Video Games seem to be one step ahead of the news. No further details were offered, though considering the hype created around the first two LEGO Star Wars games, we're sure Batman's debut will be nothing short of fantastic fun. The Dark Knight's deep universe and wide-array of heroes and villains perfectly integrates in the LEGO spirit initiated by Star Wars. It should provide a rather darker style of humor than previously met at Traveller's Tales, and then again, there's always the brick Batmobile to pilot through the block built Gotham Streets in all its pixeled glory.
