LEDs (light-emitting diodes) started out with a luminosity that was too weak to serve in anything other than screen backlighting.

Eventually, though, the technology evolved enough for even room light to be made out of it, replacing normal light bulbs.

The long lifespan and very low power consumption make up for the price difference.

They aren't a novelty anymore, however, which means their makers need to get inventive.

ShopHorne definitely got creative when it made the LIM360 lamp.

Looking much like a bent stick, the lamp actually has a horizontal arm that can rotate a full 360 degrees.

It comes colored in silver, black, white or orange, and has a price of $300 / 300 Euro. Its life is of 50 thousand hours, give or take, though all bets are off if you break it while using it as a spinning toy.
